At the beginning of the Great Patriotic War the plant was manufacturing illusory tanks.
At the end of 1943 while liberating Darnytzya region and retreat of Germans the plant was destroyed and burnt.
Reconstruction of the plant was made from 1944 till 1948.
From year to year the plant was increasing the plywood production.
In 1950 its production output was 10000 m3.
In 1958 the new shop for production of the joiner's boards was constructed. Its project capacity was 10000 m3 that gave the possibility to increase production volume up to 11000 m3.
The shop produced the joiner's boards till 1972, and then it began to produce the bent glued elements.
Reconstruction of the plywood shop was made from 1959 till 1962. During reconstruction old equipment has been replaced with the new one.
The technology of a wet hot method of plywood gluing has been replaced with a dry hot method and also with using carbamide adhesive.
Assortment of plywood production was widened; the shop began production of chair-bottoms and backs.
In 1959 plywood production made up 16232 m3 and in 1963, after reconstruction - 19642 m3.
In 1969 the plant has renewed production of plywood for export.
